Take a moment, 2008 (Sony compact digital)

My original title for this picture was a little longer, and went ‘Know the difference between compassion and guilt…one is vital, the other crippling’. It is hard to live in a world where some people have a lot and live well, while others have nothing and suffer daily. It is not a solution to hold yourself back from success so that you don’t have to feel guilty! The more we have, the more we can contribute (be it knowledge, wisdom, positive energy, money or support)
